Robert Parmelee started work at Monticello Medical Associates May 1, 1975 as Administrator of the medical group practice which opened for business July 5, 1975. Robert was in charge of everything the office needed. Fulfilling multiple roles at the beginning of the practice, Robert has been licensed and worked in both the laboratory and the x-ray department as well as Administrator and CEO.
He has completed over 47 years of employment in the role of CEO and currently manages over 60 employees and has an active role as a KPCA board member and working partnerships with other healthcare management affiliates.
He served on the Wayne County Hospital Board of Directors for many years. He has been the co-owner of South Creek Medical Center since 1989. He has been a vital role in Monticello Medical Associates becoming a Rural Health Clinic, Patient Centered Medical Home and Federally Qualified Health Center Look-A-Like. He is the Authorizing Official for Monticello Medical Associates 340 B program.
Robert has an active role in all patient, healthcare and staff related daily activities at Monticello Medical Associates.
